Why no consent banner?
Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the requirement to obtain consent — they cannot be withheld without breaking the core service the user has explicitly requested. We still wanted to be transparent about what is set and why. If we add non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising, etc.) in the future, this policy will be updated and a proper consent mechanism will be introduced at that time.
